Without feeling burned out or overwhelmed in the process
Have you done all the hard work, taken the classes, done the volunteering and research, only to have this ONE exam stand in the way of your medical school dreams?
Have you attempted to study, but find it hard to stay motivated?
Do you find yourself distracted by life and work and classes and family?
Does the MCAT keep getting pushed aside?
You're no quitter, so you try harder!
You read and you practice, you time yourself on passages,
but you don't get better,
and with every missed question, you feel even more defeated,
your confidence keeps dropping,
and you are left wondering, ‘am I even cut out to be a doctor?'
I get it because I’ve been there.
For me, it all came crashing down when I nearly failed organic chemistry—despite doing everything ‘right'!
I showed up to lecture, took amazing notes and attempted all the homework. I say ‘attempted' because, when I got stuck, I simply looked up the solutions and memorized them.
It didn’t work for organic chemistry, and it certainly doesn’t work for the MCAT. (Now before you scream and run for the hills, rest assured. When I retook the course, I aced it AND came out at the top of my classes in both Orgo 1 and Orgo 2.)
It's not just about studying, is it?
Sometimes knowing what to do is not enough.
You may have the perfect outline and study plans, but if you keep losing motivation and burning out, if you keep running into dead ends and losing confidence, if you keep doubting yourself…
How do you get UNstuck?
In working with thousands of students, I've discovered that the secret to successful MCAT prep boils down to three things:
- Strategy – so you know exactly what to do every step of the way; create a road map of your goals with measurable checkpoints and accountability.
- Foundation – because even though it’s not a content exam, you still need a rock-solid content foundation to tackle passages and questions; being aware of your weaknesses, strengthening them, leaving no gaps, and then maximizing your strengths for your best scores.
- Support – because it’s so easy to lose your way, to feel overwhelmed and alone, and you can’t afford to give up now. You don't have to do this alone.
“Joining the study hall was the best decision I could have made for my MCAT prep — for the content and structure, of course, but also for the support and its immense impact on my mental wellness during this process.”

Here’s how the MCAT Study Hall will help YOU reach your goals:
There is a LOT of content on the MCAT and most books are boring, dry, and difficult to understand.
The MCAT Study Hall Bootcamp Library will help you learn content from the very beginning, with logical explanations and easy to follow examples every step of the way.
Included in your Study Hall membership:
- Orientation Module: THIS is the first and most difficult hurdle, getting started. Not anymore, this module walks you through getting started and set up with your MCAT study plan.
- MCAT Strategy Bootcamp: If you’re starting fresh, starting over, or looking to continue with a more strategic plan, the Strategy Bootcamp will help you fill in the exact what, where, when and how of your MCAT plan.
- Easy Data Tracking: Forget complex spreadsheets and endless math, I have it all ready for you to track (and auto calculate). From tracking progress, your schedule and calendar, weekly goals, FL scores, target improvements and more.
- MCAT Science Bootcamps: Learn Physics, Gen-Chem, Orgo, Bio, and Biochem from the beginning so you're not relying on what you remember from class.
- Foundations In MCAT Math Bootcamp: More than just mental math, this is the ‘how to do this quickly under pressure without a calculator' type math.
- Support and Community: Premed, especially the non-trad route can be very lonely. Not anymore with the members-only Facebook group + virtual meetups.
- Members Only Forum/Support Group (on Facebook): so you’re not alone, for daily accountability, daily questions, support, motivation and more. Ask questions on content, practice, passages, full lengths and anything premed.
- Weekly Live Sessions and Office Hours: 1-2 (typically 2) live sessions per week to discuss your strategy / schedule / progress, ask questions, practice passages, virtual meetups and more.
“I am so blessed to have found your website on YouTube. Having a study hall group is amazing because not only do other students help, Leah makes sure to respond to the study hall group on Facebook as well, which is extremely helpful. I do not use Facebook too often and I'm REALLY bad with technology so I would never really use the study hall, until Leah challenged me to. Once… that's all it took for me to realize how helpful it was with other students responding to my questions and getting feedback from Leah as well. When other students explain in a way you had never thought of, the information just clicks. I was definitely not expecting for it to be as helpful as it is. I am extremely glad and blessed that she challenged me to post.”

Saving Time and Money
A quality MCAT tutor will cost anywhere from $100-$500 per hour. I personally charge $199 per hour for weekday tutoring sessions. And if we worked on all of this together, from teaching you content to daily meetings for your tutoring questions, it would cost tens of thousands. And yes, there are students out there who pay this much because you can’t put a price on your dreams, right? But, that’s just not possible for so many.
Now, this program won’t cost you tens of thousands, not even close.
But think for a moment, if it did (and you had that financial option)…
Would it be worth it to you if it meant finally putting on that white coat as you prepare to enter the medical school of your choice?
Finally getting the MCAT chapter of your premed career aced and out of the way! Remember, here’s the thing: Every student is different. Therefore, every MCAT Study Hall plan is unique. And every MCAT Study Hall experience is unique. I won’t lock you into an ‘x -months-and-you-better-finish’ program. Because you already have enough pressure from the exam itself.
Instead, the program becomes YOURS. It’s structured to YOUR needs and to YOUR timeline.

“Before signing up for MCAT study hall I was nervous about creating a solid study schedule that would have me prepared by my test date, and was also feeling like I had content gaps in certain areas despite thoroughly reviewing my books. I had been using Leah’s free resources and had wanted to join the study hall for a while but was trying to avoid spending more money on MCAT prep, and then a few months before my test date Leah had a sale and I decided to join and I’m so glad I did! It helped to have people double checking I was on track with my goals, and I loved Leah’s videos for filling gaps in my knowledge and also for further explanation on topics I struggled with or was confused on. I’m also a big planner and very organized so I loved having access to Leah’s spreadsheet templates that help to make sure you are staying on track, and having everything in one place! I joined the study hall 2.5 months before my test date and had a 12 point increase from where I was at then to test day!”

The Problem With ‘Big Name' MCAT Prep Courses
The well known ‘big name' companies have so many students that they can easily brag about their successes without caring about the rest. Most of these programs are generic, templated, cater-to-the-masses programs with a standard curriculum, attempting to force you into a specific mold…
Class starts on ‘this day’ and ends on ‘this day’. And you better be ready during ‘this time.’ If you have a family emergency, or get sick, or have to deal with a school project, “sorry!” The course doesn’t wait. You fall behind. And get even more overwhelmed.
With every missed deadline you try harder, only to fall even further behind
YOU are the failure, for… being human?? Money down the drain.
That voice in the back of your mind starts considering it as you doubt yourself even more. Until you ask yourself, “But, is that what’s best for me in the long run?” You’re not ready to give up on your dreams!
Sound familiar? These are just some of the stories I’ve heard from past students. New doctors, students currently IN medical school or accepted and waiting to start!
Their advisors quickly changed their tune, of course: “I knew you would get in…”
Family and friends too: “We knew you had it in you! You’ll make a great doctor!”
If what you've done up to this point just isn't working…
Let's change that today.
Let me guide you in every step of your MCAT prep journey.
“At the beginning of my MCAT journey I was at my wits end. I spent thousands of dollars on a big name MCAT course and a tutor only to feel disappointed in the teaching style/information I was receiving. I had saved some of Leah’s tutorials for Biochem, but I was wary of spending even more money on exam prep. I had been studying content for 6 months out of the books and I was still scoring in the 400’s on my full length exams. I had no direction from my “tutors” and then one day I ran into Leah's Biochem live sample. Her teaching style was so similar to how I constructed notes and understood information that I finally felt hopeful. I learned more about the amino acids in that 1 hr video lecture than I had in the entire 6 months prior. I decided to sign up for the entire library and joined the Facebook group. I watched every single video in her library on how to structure my studying, review exams, and plan my goals. I watched her content videos and everything finally made sense. I started hitting my targets and I felt relieved just to have a plan around even the most minute details like timing during each section. I applied to medical school this cycle and was admitted with a half tuition scholarship to my 2nd choice school!”

THIS is exactly why I created The MCAT Study Hall
In working with hundreds of premed students over the last decade, I’ve seen firsthand what challenges come up every step of the way.
In studying the patterns of issues, and taking notes on what ultimately led to their success, I was able to create a system for you to follow to help you along on your self study journey.
Through a series of videos, text, and homework assignments, my self study system will guide you on your journey to help you:
- Figure out exactly where you stand NOW with your MCAT journey,
- Help you choose realistic goals and targets for YOUR situation
- Walk you through HOW to map out the exact journey from where you are to where you’re going
- Guide you in creating a realistic plan to execute on the individual steps as they slowly add up to your goal
- Help you with the challenges and pitfalls that inevitably come up along the way

Study Hall FAQ
I'm worried about spending money right now, especially after how much I've already paid for MCAT prep.
I get it, this isn't your ‘cup of coffee impulse buy'. Even at the super discounted rate, the Study Hall is still quite the investment. I will make sure that when you invest to work with me and my assistant, you feel safe and supported the entire time.
And while it may sound ‘safer' to try going it alone, scrounging the internet for free resources (including my website), how much more time and effort will that cost you in the long run?
How much time wasted trying to figure it out, paying $300+ for a test date only to pay yet again (and again) to postpone and cancel?
If this isn't for you, that's ok. But if you feel that the Study Hall will help you finally reach your whitecoat dreams, NOW is the time to invest in yourself and your future.
Question: What's the difference between the Comprehensive and Self Study Level Study Hall Programs?
The Study Hall included with the Comprehensive and Self Study Level programs are EXACTLY THE SAME. The only difference is the level of hands on support at each level. In addition to everything listed above for the Self Study level, Comprehensive members also get one-on-one guidance and support through direct messaging, tracker help and one-on-one sessions.
While I am still there for you in live Office Hours and the Facebook group, my daily involvement is lower than the hands-on program which is how I am able to make this a budget friendly yet still exactly what you need program.
Although the Self Study level does NOT include strategy, members can purchase an add-on session for just $199 as needed.
Question: Do I still get access to everything in the Study Hall as a Self Study member?
Yes! The core Study Hall program is exactly the same. The Self Study program is simply less hands-on. Same guidance, same strategy, same advice, same access to weekly live sessions.
Question: How come the Study Hall doesn’t include anything about Psychology and Sociology?
I firmly believe you should only learn from someone who’s a master at their craft — and I haven’t mastered these topics yet. Independently, I study and practice these topics so I can still help out and answer questions, but I’m not yet willing to call myself an expert. Once I feel that I can teach with 100% confidence, I will add these topics to the Study Hall.
Question: I haven’t taken XYZ subject. Will this program still help me? (The most common subjects not taken: Orgo 2 and Biochem.)
This depends on how close you are to your MCAT date. I’ve worked with quite a few students who take an MCAT subject class after their MCAT. That’s okay, but this means you’ll have to put in twice the effort to learn the material on your own.
The good news is that even students who have taken the class tend to forget some or all of the material. Each of the science bootcamps is taught from a beginner's perspective to ensure that if you ever missed something in your classes, or never took the classes, you still get the proper MCAT foundation in this subject.
Question: Have you taken the MCAT under the current scoring system?
I would if I could! Tutors and those affiliated with MCAT prep aren’t allowed to take the test — only people who actually intend to go to medical school are permitted. (I signed up for the new exam, got reported and banned). For that reason, I’m not able to take the test. To overcome that, I’ve done everything in my power to ensure a full understanding of today’s MCAT testing environment.
Question: If I sign up for the MCAT Study Hall, can you guarantee that I’ll score my target score?
NO! No one should realistically make this type of guarantee. Every student is different, every situation is unique, and, no matter how much I provide, at the end of the day it comes down to you.
How hard are you willing to work in order to attain your target MCAT score? I’ll do my best by helping you craft a strategy, by pointing you to the correct Study Hall resources, and by being there for you to help guide and motivate and answer your questions in live Office Hours, your tracker, and Facebook group. But at the end of the day, it will be up to you to put in the work and utilize the resources available.
Question: Does your program come with practice tests and questions?
No, there are no passages and full lengths. As a small business, I don't have the resources to create practice exams that are close enough to the real thing to be worth your time. Instead, I focus my time/resources on teaching the material and ensuring that my students know how to prepare for this exam.
That being said, as a Study Hall member, I will guide you to the best resources (based on student feedback) and help you figure out when to use each one to make the most out of your resources.
Question: Do you offer a free trial?
There are a few reasons why you might be asking this. While I don't offer a free trial, I understand you may have tried quite a few programs and so you may want to check this program out before committing to it. No worries, if after a few days you decide it's not for you, I'm offering a limited time, 1-week satisfaction guarantee: Try the MCAT Study Hall Self Study program out, and if it's not for you let me know within 1 week of your initial sign up date, and I'll refund your Study Hall cost minus a 4% transaction fee.
Question: Am I locked into a contract or can I cancel anytime?
If you sign up for a monthly membership with me, you are able to keep it for as few or as many months as you like! All I ask is for a 2-business day notice to cancel to ensure there is enough time to cancel prior to your next payment.
What Others Say About The MCAT Study Hall
“Leah’s MCAT Study Hall is a program that builds on core concepts needed for the MCAT from the ground up and really emphasizes the foundational concepts in a logical manner, which are important in understanding the more complex processes…. Leah’s MCAT program is tailored to work with everyone’s personal needs as she constantly supports you along this journey.”
— Ruhani (former Study Hall Member)
“Like most people, when I think about the MCAT and the astronomical amounts of information you’re expected to know, I am overwhelmed by all the content I must learn and apply to test taking strategy and still be able to take the 7 hour marathon test…. You realize that you will likely never know everything and begin to think why bother knowing any of this at all. You also need to build taking strategy specific to the MCAT. These things all combine to create the scary “MCAT monster” that is a nightmare for the average pre-med…. When you juggle different things that you’re currently doing (full time employment for instance), it just makes it hard for you to see the best way to study for the MCAT. The strategy breaks that “monster” into smaller, manageable pieces. I had a hard time trying to make my schedule for everything else fit with my study schedule and with what to learn when. The strategy session just helped me to plan out everything and to master one topic at a time in my MCAT studying and still have time to attend to my normal activities during the week.”
— Stephanie (Former Study Hall Member)
“The first time I took the MCAT, I purchased a one-size-fits-all prep course from a large, well-recognized test prep service. Throughout the whole program, I struggled to stay on track and ended up testing even though I did not feel confident or ready. I scored a 498 and only got waitlisted at 1 school.
When I finally accepted the fact that I needed to retake the MCAT, I knew I had to take a different approach; I couldn't use another cookie-cutter program again. After inadvertently using Leah's free resources in almost every one of my prereq courses, I decided that I needed to give her MCAT prep program a chance and I joined the Study Hall. I could not be happier with that decision!
As it turned out, not only was a Study Hall Membership less expensive than my previous program, but I also had access to more resources as well. The library of videos is extensive and logically organized, the pre-made Google Sheets help you track your progress and stay organized with your time, the Facebook group provides a way to ask content questions and engage with other MCAT preppers, and Office Hours provide a space for you to ask about strategy and planning while also learning from other student's questions.
Perhaps the most valuable component of joining the Study Hall is the access to Leah's knowledge, advice, and wisdom regarding the MCAT and med school applications. She understands the whole process backwards and forwards and I strongly believe her recommendations were behind some of the most consequential decisions I made when re-testing and re-applying.
As a result, I jumped from the 38th percentile to 55th percentile and was accepted to my #1 school before the end of October!!!
Leah and her team are the real deal. She knows what works, and by joining the Study Hall, they support you with all the tools you need to succeed while also costing you less than any other MCAT Prep service. I cannot recommend them highly enough and I sincerely hope you decide to join so they can help you reach your dream of becoming a doctor too!”
— Kevin (Former Study Hall Member)
“Leah’s MCAT Study Hall videos are unlike any other resource out there. I spent a year trying out every MCAT study resource I could find, but nothing or no one else clears concepts up as quickly and concisely as Leah does in her videos! I have always been the type of student to try to memorize as much as possible, but I’ve realized this is impossible for the amount of material the MCAT covers. Leah’s videos have enabled me to truly understand and engage with material so that challenging concepts and equations just “click” now, and I no longer feel pressured to flat out memorize what initially seemed like an endless sea of random concepts/equations. Thank you, Leah!!”
